Welcome to my privacy policy. I am Caroline Sanders, a French translator working in Mitcham, South Australia.
Confidentiality
I respect your privacy. I also endeavour to protect your personal data. As a member of AUSIT, I abide by the principle of confidentiality – that means that I do not disclose information acquired during my work, except when required by law.
Personal information
This website doesn’t store personal information.
When you contact me for translation, revision, or copyediting services, you agree that I may store, process and use data, including personal and confidential information, for establishing a quote. I may also need to use them when processing and delivering services if required.
Your personal information, and the documents you send me, are securely stored on a computer protected by a password, an anti-virus and a firewall. My emails are stored in a secure server. I will keep them for the time required to run my business, including for tax reasons. If you don’t want me to store them at all after I have sent you the finished project, please send me an email at privacy@carolinesanders.com.au.
I do not use personal information for promotional purposes. And I won’t disclose yours to anyone without your consent.
You may obtain a copy of the personal information that I hold for you, and ask me to amend or delete them. Email me your request at privacy@carolinesanders.com.au and I will fulfill it within a reasonable time.
