I have studied English-to-French legal translation to first answer my questions as a French native translator living in Australia. I was struggling to understand the differences between the French and Australian legal systems.
And, as a translator, I was wondering about the concepts and the terminology. Hence my interest for this topic and the never-ending learning journey.

To receive a quote, you just need to email me the documents to translate with any information that you deem important. As a member of AUSIT, I respect the principle of confidentiality, whether we decide to work together or not.
Answering the following questions will help me meet your requirements.
Who is the translation for?
- Is it for the judiciary? For a notary, a bank? The translation will then mirror the layout of the source document, and may need to be NAATI-certified.
- Or is it for website users, customers, partners, legal practitioners?
How is it going to be used?
- Is it part of a court case?
- Before or during negotiation?
- During dispute resolution?
- Or is it going to be published on a website?
Does it need to be NAATI-certified?
